Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning and development on human resource performance intervened by motivation in South Jakarta life insurance employees. The method of data analysis used was by applying Structural Equation Modeling SEM models with Smart PLS 3.0 applications. The instrument used obtained data was by distributing online questionnaires to South Jakarta life insurance employees. The sampling method uses non- probability sampling techniques where not all populations have the same opportunity as thepurposive sampling method, namely sampling in research with certain considerations, with a total of 180 respondents. The results of this study show that there is no positive and not significant influence between learning variables and employee performance. But on the other hand, development variables have a positive and significant relationship to employee performance. Employee motivation variables can mediate all three variables well, so that the relationship between the three becomes positive and significant ifmediated by employee motivation.
