Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of emotional intelligence and gratitude on employee performance at PT IRC INOAC, as well as the mediating role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Emotional intelligence is measured through self awareness, selfregulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills, while gratitude encompasses a positive response to good workplace experiences. A quantitative research method was employed, and primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to PT IRC INOAC employees. The sample was selected using snowball sampling, with an initial respondent count of 100 individuals. Data analysis utilized PLS-SEM, focusing on validity and reliability tests, outer and inner model analyses, as well as coefficient determination (R²),
predictive relevance (Q²), and gof tests.
The results of this study indicate that emotional intelligence and gratitude have a positive impact on the performance of PT IRC INOAC employees, and emotional intelligence also influences Ocb. However, ocb does not have a significant influence on employee
performance in this research context. These findings can serve as a basis for the company to consider human resource development strategies that focus on emotional intelligence and gratitude to enhance employee performance. Moreover, despite ocb lacking a direct and significant impact on employee performance, its mediating role remains relevant in the context of the relationship between emotional intelligence, gratitude, and employee
performance in this company. The practical implications of these findings can assist the company in designing more targeted training and development programs to enhance aspects
contributing to employee performance.
