Abstract
This study aims to determine how work stres, self-efficacy and work-life balance affect employee performance in generation Z workers with the age gap as a moderating variabel. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method and there were 309 valid respondent data. The results of this study indicate that work stres, self-efficacy and worklife balance affect employee performance and also affect the presence of reinforcing or
weakening variabels in the form of an age gap. The implication of this research is the importance of paying attention to work stres, self-efficacy and work-life balance for workers, especially in generation Z with or without an age gap.
