Abstract
The Purpose of this research is to find the relationship between self efficacy and achievement on Special Olympic athletes (mental retarded). Self Efficacy is a person’s evaluation on his or her capacity to accomplish a task. Achievement is the score to evaluate a person’s capacity to have a certain ability. The Special Olympic athletes consider that the function of achievement is for the self and family pride. This quantitative correlational non-experiment research uses questionnaire on 26 participants. The statistical analysis uses Spearmen rho correlation. Results indicate that r(26)=0.042, ρ=0,840>0,01, thus there is no correlation between self efficacy and achievement on Special Olympic athletes.
