Abstract

"This study aims to examine the role of organizational climate to work engagement with work life balance as a variable mediator at PT XYZ. Based on one of the factors that affect work engagement is the job resources. And one of job resources is the organizational climate. Climate organization as one of job resources is very important to keep employees condition to work in a happiness and enthusiastic in every job even in difficult conditions. Researchers also predict the relationship between organizational climate with work engagement can be reinforced with work life balance as a mediator variable. The sample includes 150 employees at PT XZY in head office with various gander, age, and educational background. This study using purposive random sampling with data was collected with questionnaire distribution to the employee by manually and online. The results of this study proves that the organizational climate has a positive and significant impact on the work engagement; organizational climate has a positive and significant impact on work life balance; work life balance has a positive and significant effect on work engagement; work life balance can act as a partial mediator on the relationship between organizational climate with work engagement. "
