Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of growth opportunity, profitability, leverage, and tangible assets on cash holdings in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020. The study used 60 manufacturing companies as samples and used multiple regression analysis. The results of the F test show that growth opportunity, profitability, leverage, and tangible assets simultaneously have a significant effect on cash holdings. The results of the t test show that leverage and tangible assets had a significant negative effect and profitability had a significant positive effect on cash holdings. While growth opportunity has no significant effect on cash holding. Keywords: Growth Opportunity, Profitability, Leverage, Tangible Asset, Cash Holding Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh growth opportunity, profitability, leverage, dan tangible asset terhadap cash holding pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2018-2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan 60 perusahaan manufaktur sebagai sampel dan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa growth opportunity, profitability, leverage, dan tangible asset secara bersama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap cash holding. Hasil uji t menunjukkan leverage dan tangible asset berpengaruh negatif signifikan dan profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap cash holding sedangkan growth opportunity berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap cash holding.
