Abstract

Today import activity has many obstacles. These barriers cause importer profits to decline. This study aims to examine the factors inhibiting the entry of imported goods from the Port of Tanjung Priok to PT. XYZ. The analysis method used in this study is qualitative by exploring data collected from interviews via E-Mail containing questions to 21 employees working at PT. XYZ during the Covid 19 pandemic and from other sources including journals and books. Data analysis techniques using qualitative methods by explaining the results of interviews obtained that the factors inhibiting the entry of imported goods are imported documents, port facilities and Behandle has an impact on the inhibition of entry of imported goods to PT. XYZ. To overcome these obstacles, importers must evaluate the work of their employees as best as possible by carefully crosschecking import documents. In addition, the port facility of Tanjung Priok needs to always supervise the cargo and the condition of the transport machine (Crane) so that there is no damage that causes the loading and unloading process of imported cargo is hampered Then, PT XYZ as an importer must always comply with the complete requirements for the production of Behandle goods from Customs and Excise. Cooperation between Customs and importers PT. XYZ needs to be done so that the approval process of the Goods Expenditure Approval Letter is easy and fast so that it does not make it difficult for the importer to carry out its activities.
