Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the influence of motivation and personality of students in Economic Faculties in Tarumanagara University to entrepreneurial intention, to determine the influence of motivation of students in Economic Faculties in Tarumanagara University partially to entrepreneurial intention, and to determine the influence of personality of students in Economic Faculties in Tarumanagara University partially to entrepreneurial intention.Motivation were measured through the attributes of independence ambitions, self-realization, and the factors driving. Personality were measured through the attributes of hard work, self confidence, creativity, and courage to act. Entrepreneurial intention were measured through the attributes of career, entrepreneurship, and time. The population is all students of economic faculties in Tarumanagara University. The sampling frame for this research was limited to students year of 2008-2010 in Tarumanagara University. The purposive sampling methods used in this research. The methods of data collection conducted by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The techniques of data analysis using multiple regression. The findings of this research showed that motivation and personality simultaneously influenced significantly on entrepreneurial intention at Economic Faculties in Tarumanagara University with confidence level 95%, motivation partially influenced significantly on entrepreneurial intention at Economic Faculties in Tarumanagara University with confidence level 95%, and personality partially not influenced significantly on entrepreneurial intention at Economic Faculties in Tarumanagara University with confidence level 95%.
