Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of innovativeness, pro-activeness, risk taking on improving the performance of SMEs. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection method used in this study was a questionnaire distributed to 241 MSME owners spread across North Jakarta. The data processing method used in this study is Partial Least Square assisted by SMARTPLS 3.0. The results of the study show that Innovativeness affects the performance of Culinary MSMEs in Jakarta, Proactiveness affects the performance of Culinary MSMEs in Jakarta and Risk-taking does not affect the performance of Culinary SMEs in Jakarta. From the results of this research, suggestions that can be given are to use more other independent variables that can affect business performance, such as competition factors, and technology. In addition, further research can also add mediating or moderating variables to provide other findings. Keywords: entrepreneurial orientation, business performance, culinary
