Abstract
ABSTRACT: The objective of this study is to examine the impact of different types of motivation, including economic motivation, social motivation, and professional motivation, on the level of interest displayed by public accountants in pursuing CPA certification. In this study, a purposive sampling technique was employed to choose a total of 71 public accounts for participation. The hypothesis was tested using the Smart PLS application, which is based on PLS-SEM. The findings of this study indicate that both quality motivation and career motivation had a positive but not significantly impact on the interest of public accountants in obtaining CPA certification. Economic motivations and social motivations had a significant and positive influence on public accountants' interest in obtaining CPA certification. Keywords: Quality Motivation, Economic Motivation, Social Motivation, Career Motivation, CPA ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh motivasi kualitas motivasi ekonomi, motivasi sosial, motivasi karir terhadap minat akuntan publik dalam pengambilan sertifikasi CPA. Melalui purposive sampling, terdapat 71 akuntan publik yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan melalui aplikasi Smart PLS berbasis PLS-SEM. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa motivasi kualitas dan motivasi karir berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap minat akuntan publik dalam pengambilan sertifikasi CPA, sedangkan motivasi ekonomi dan motivasi sosial memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat akuntan publik dalam pengambilan sertifikasi CPA.
