ABSTRACT TARUMANAGARA UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS JAKARTA (A) ALBERT (115200055) (B) THE INFLUENCE OF GAIN MOTIVES, NORMATIVE MOTIVES MEDIATED BY HEDONIC MOTIVES AND THE INFLUENCE OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN ON PURCHASE INTENTION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE IN JAKARTA (C) XV+ 130 Pages + 50 Tables + 9 Pictures + 8 Attachments (D) MARKETING MANAGEMENT (E) Abstract: This research was conducted to determine and test the influence of environmental concern, gain motives and normative motives on intention to purchase electric vehicles in Jakarta as well as to test hedonic motives as mediation between gain motives and normative motives with purchase intention. The population in this study was 325 people who already own or intend to buy an electric vehicle who live in Jakarta. In this research, non-probability sampling techniques were used with the judgmental sampling method for sampling. The results of testing in this research used the PLS-SEM model with Smart-PLS system software version 4.0. The results of this research are that gain motives and normative motives have a significant influence on hedonic motives. Normative motives and hedonic motives have a significant influence on purchase intentions. Environmental concern and gain motives do not have a significant influence on purchase intentions. Gain motives and normative motives have an influence on purchase intentions when passing through hedonic motives. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 325 orang yang telah memiliki atau mempunyai niat untuk membeli kendaraan listrik yang berdomisili di Jakarta. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan metode judgemental sampling untuk pengambilan sampel. Hasil dari pengujian pada penelitian ini menggunakan model PLS-SEM dengan sistem software Smart- PLS versi 4.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah gain motives dan normative motives memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hedonic motives. Normative motives dan hedonic motives memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap purchase intention. Environmental concern dan gain motives tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap purchase intention. Gain motives dan normative motives memiliki pengaruh terhadap purchase intention ketika melalui hedonic motives.
