Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of profitability, liquidity, firm size and growth opportunity on capital structure in consumer non-cyclicals companies 2020- 2023. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample data in this study were 100 sample data. This study uses secondary data that is processed using IBM SPSS version 22. The results of the F test show that profitability, liquidity, firm size and growth opportunity together have a significant effect on capital structure. The results of the t test show that profitability and liquidity have a negative and significant effect on capital structure, while growth opportunity has a positive and significant effect on capital structure. Firm size has a positive and insignificant effect on capital structure. Keywords: Profitability, Liquidity, Firm Size, Growth Opportunity, Capital Structure. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh profitabilitas, liquidity, firm size dan growth opportunity terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan consumer non-cyclicals 2020-2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Data sampel dalam penelitian sebanyak 100 data sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diolah menggunakan IBM SPSS versi 22. Hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas, liquidity, firm size dan growth opportunity secara bersama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Hasil uji t menunjukkan profitabilitas dan liquidity berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal, sedangkan growth opportunity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Firm size berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Kata Kunci: Profitabilitas, Liquidity, Firm Size, Growth Opportunity, Struktur Modal
