Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship of love and sexual behavior that occur in early adulthood. Love is composed of Intimacy, Passion, Commitment. Sexual behavior is any behavior that is driven by sexual desire, which consists of touching, kisiing, petting and coitus. This study included 200 subjects research at the University of X in Jakarta by using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the result of the intimacy and commitment of sexual behavior showed a negative relationship. For intimacy obtained r = - 0201 and p = 0.004, which means that if high intimacy then low sexual behavior. The value of commitment is r = -0322 and p = 0.000, which means if the commitment is high, then low sexual behavior displayed. While the results of the dimensions of passion with sexual behavior, have the positive relationship is r = 0.630 and p = 0.000, which means that if a high passion, the sexual behavior is also high. While the results of touching r = 0.686 and p = 0.000. Results of kissing is r = -0141 and p = 0.046. Value of petting is r = -0278 and p = 0.000, and coitus of r = 0195 and p = 0.006, which means it is a relationship that produced kissing, petting, and coitus has a negative relationship.
