Abstract

The aim of this research is to find the correlation between identity achievement and intimacy in senior high school teenagers. The total subjects of this research are 91 students. Researcher used questionnaire which is based on Likert scale to collect the data of this research. The data was analyzed by SPSS program 11th version. The result of this research shows that there is a significant and positive correlation between identity achievement and intimacy in senior high school teenagers. The result also shows that the correlation exists between identity achievement (on crisis, commitment, ego development, moral reasoning, and internal locus of control dimensions) and intimacy in senior high school teenagers. But there is no correlation between identity achievement (on self-esteem and performance under stress dimensions) and intimacy in senior high school teenagers.
