Abstract
"This research has a purpose to find out the relationship between personality trait and attitude toward fast rotation shiftwork at nurse. The subject in this research are 160 nurses. The data is taken using questionnaire and processed with SPSS programme for windows ver. 12.0. The processing technique is using Spearman Rho, because the data in this research is not normal. The result of this research shows negative relationship between Introversion personality and attitude toward fast rotation shiftwork with rxy = -0,467, p = 0,002 < 0,01; positive relationship between Extraversion personality and attitude toward fast rotation shiftwork with rxy = 0,645, p = 0,000 < 0,01; positive relationship between Emotionally Stable personality and attitude toward fast rotation shiftwork with rxy = 0,776, p = 0,000 < 0,01; and negative relationship between Neuroticism personality and attitude toward fast rotation shiftwork with rxy = 0,590, p = 0,000 < 0,01. It means that there is a relationship, whether it is positive or negative between each personality trait and attitude toward fast rotation shiftwork. "
