Abstract
The aim of this study is to investigate differences between acceleran and reguler student in their interpersonal competence. Interpersonal competence is the ability to communicate effectively. Using interpersonal competence theory from Buhrmester, Furman, Wittenberg and Reis. The participant of this study was 109 students of senior high school. Data was obtained by quetionnaire and processed with SPSS for Windows ver.12. Using Independent Sample T-Test, the result of interpersonal competence t(107)=1.409, p > 0.05, showed that there is no difference of interpersonal competence between acceleran and reguler student.
