Abstract
Religiousity means how a person feels bond to his or her religion. Religiosity can be seen from five dimensions, i.e. ideology, ritual, experiential, intellectual and consequences. Marital commitment gives a picture how a person can build his or her marriage in ever lasting time. Marital commitment have 3 dimensions, i.e. personal commitment, moral commitment, and structural commitment. This study wants to see if there is any correlation between religiousity and marital commitment. This study is also aimed to see relation between dimensions of religiousity and marital commitment. The subject on this study is Catholic middle aged adult. The study have taken 300 respondents as sample, which were taken from August 27th until 3rd October 2006. Data was processed using SPSS Ver 12.0 and p = 0,000 < 0,05, which means there is a positive correlation between religiousity and marital commitment. More religious, a person will commit more to his or her marriage.
