Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of HIV/AIDS persuasive intervention through street children’s attitude toward free sex. This research is also purposing in giving the information about HIV/AIDS and the risks of HIV/AIDS to street children. Other purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of HIV/AIDS persuasive intervention toward attitude change, specially in this research is attitude of free sex in street children. This research is conducted using quantitative research type with experiment method, so there is a treatment giving as HIV/AIDS persuasive intervention. Questionnaire was used for collecting the data and was given to the participants for this research. There are total 40 participants, 20 participants of them are into the group of experiment and 20 participants are into the control group. To the group of experiment was given the HIV/AIDS persuasive intervention and the control group was none. The data measured using the Paired Samples T-Test, Independent Samples T-Test, and Oneway Anova with SPSS program version 11.5. The result of this research shows that there is significant influence of HIV/AIDS persuasive intervention on attitude of free sex in street children.
