Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out the correlations between cohesiveness and interpersonal communications for seaman of oil tanker. Cohesiveness is a degree which make working team members keep staying in group because of individual in group or entirety of group. Interpersonal communications is a transfer process of comprehensive information by verbal between two people or more which conducted to influence, to altering or improve individual behavior one another. Questionnaire design is used in this research and 200 seaman of oil tanker participate in this research. The Spearman Rank Order Coefficients of Correlations is used to analyze the data. This research show that there is a positive significant correlation between cohesiveness and interpersonal communications for seaman of oil tanker rxy (192) = 0.537, p < 0.05.
