Abstract
"The purpose of this study was to determine how far the influence of project-based learning on student achievement motivation and knowledge. The subject of the study totaled 43 people, use within one group with quantitative methods. Implementation of project based learning carried out for 8 meeting. At the initial meeting of students formed groups. Broadly based learning phase project consists of the provision of essential questions, the lecturer, design project plans, implementation schedules, and monitor student progress of the project, assess the results of the implementation and evaluation experience during implementation of the project based learning. Data collection was conducted at the beginning of the meeting (pre-test) by distributing questionnaires achievement motivation and knowledge. At the last meeting, data collection done again (post-test). The data were processed using SPSS version 16.0. Data processing is done with the reliability test, test and test normality paired samples test. The results of processing the data showed there was no effect of project based learning on achievement motivation (p = 0096 > 0.05), while there is an influence on knowledge application project based learning (p = 0.02 < 0.05). Project based learning is the method most widely applied learning in the 21st century because of the theoretical study in the application. For that we need to conduct further research in order to improve the implementation of project based learning in the teaching and learning methods "
