Abstract

Bullying is systematic, repetitious behavior that intended to hurt physically and non-physically weaker and defendless victims, and caused fear of future attack or distress for the victims. Until now, bullying has become the major problem in education throughout many country. This descriptive methods research using SPSS 12 for analyzed the data. Recent research found high prevalence of bullying that occur among junior high school students in west Jakarta, among 345 respondents age 12 to 14 years old, 27% identified as victims, dan 10% .dentified as bullies, and most of the victims admitted that they are being bullied several times a week. Result of this research also found forms of bullying that mostly occur, location, times of incidents, identification of bullies by victims, and Impact of bullying by victims, bullies, and bystanders. The implication of reseach on description of bullying are discussed.
