Abstract
Conflict in marriage is the event which natural and can not be avoided. In marriage, conflict has impact on happiness which arises in that marriage. Conflict also influences the satisfaction, quality, and stability of husband and wife relationship. Unsolved conflict have a great impact on the appearance of separation even divorce between husband and wife. The more complex of conflict in marriage so the probability of divorce will increase. The purpose of this research is to know conflicts in marriage that makes wife take a decision to moot divorce her husband as a solution to their marriage conflict. The total subjects of this research are five subjects, and their ages are around 30 until 45 years old. Data was taken using in depth interview around September, 2006 to April, 2007. The result showed that financial conflict, affairs, jealously, communication, the interference from brothers in law, and violence in marriage could be the cause of divorce.
