Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out the correlations between self esteem with adjustment, self esteem is how the individual evaluated and looked out an unique from physical appearance, intellectual ability, and the personality as well as positive or negative. Adjustment is a certain interaction process include mental and behavior who motivated individual to hold out in social and physical environment and appropriate the function and individual personality. Questionnaire to take the data in this research and 85 gifted students who join in acceleration programme participate in this research. Pearson product moment used to analyze the data. This research show that there is a positive and significant correlations between self esteem with adjustment for the gifted students who join in acceleration programme release rxy = 0,811, p < 0,05.
