Abstract
The aim of this study to examine the effectiveness of occupational therapy in improving self-efficacy of patients with residual schizophrenia . According to Bandura (1997 ) self efficacy is an individual's personal assessment of his ability to complete a task. This is a qualitative research with 2 patients rehabilitation Mental Hospital Suharto Heerdjan as subjects. The sampling technique using non-probability sampling techniques with the type of purposive sampling. Measurements in this study measured by the number of products that have been made and a check list of indicators of the dimensions of self-efficacy. Subjects were given a weaving occupational therapy to increase self-efficacy. During the treatment period, researchers will see an increase in self-efficacy is based on indicators of the dimensions of self-efficacy. The conclusion of this study is that occupational therapy can increase self-efficacy residual schizophrenia.
