Abstract

This research was focused to the self-efficacy of the primary school teacher in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara. There are many factors influent primary school teacher’s work motivation. This research focused only to the factor self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is a personal belief about one’s capabilities to organize and implement actions necessary for attaining designated levels of performance. Method for this research was quantitative and non experimental with correlational design. The sample size 109 teachers in Kelapa Gading. The data process in this research used Pearson Correlation Technique and assisted by SPSS Program for windows release 15.00. From the result of this research, there is a positive correlation between self-efficacy and work motivation, rs = 0,544, ρ/sig 0,000, ρ<0,01. It means, a higher self-efficacy so that more higher teacher’s work motivation. And the opposite, a lower self-efficacy so that more lower teacher’s work motivation.
