Abstract
A divorce could severely effect the children in a family, especially when it caused by an affair. The writer in details that a divorce due to an affair by the father could harshly produce a negative result to his daughter when she is entering her young adulthood phase to start an interterpersonal relationship with a man. A young woman has constraint when she start a romantic relationship would have felt an ongoing discomfort in her life. The feeling would have appeared when she start a romantic relationship. The reaction that would be so noticeable is fear of being betrayed and also afraid of rejection. The research being done in September 2008 until March 2009 by interviewing four young adulthood women. The result is that they all would be too scared to even start a romance relationship with a man and often hard to believe him. They feel petrify if they would be unwanted, betrayed or not succeed in marriage life later on.
