Abstract
Family are the main source of the child personality building. Parenting could make a positive or a negative impact for the children. In this case, authoritarian parenting style gave a lot of rules for the children, even if they already grown up. As a result, it made them afraid of making decision. Late adolescence that raised with this type of parenting, would become passive and let their parents to take every decision for them. This attitude cause by parents always impose their wish and didn’t give their child an opportunity to make their own decision, make late adolescence be afraid to make a decision. This research including of four subjects, female late adolescences, 17th until 21th years old, as the one and only child with an authoritarian parenting. This research is conducted by interview since January until May 2009. Outcome of research indicates that subjects prone to be passive, incompetent to make a decision by their self, and give over their decision to their parents.
