Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out the impression of communication skills in late adolescent. Communication skill is communication between two persons or among small group of persons who create intimates and close relationship. Communication skill is necessary involved friendship, find romantic partner, family and co-workers. There are twelve dimensions of communication skills such as dialogue, mindfulness, flexibility, cultural sensitivity, metacommunication, openess, empathy, positiveness, immediacy, interaction management, expressiveness and other orientation. Subject of research involved 34 adolescent with aged 18-22 years and had experiences about parents conflict in family since child. This research involved dichotomy scale which the mean is 0.50. The analyze shown that dimension of other orientation has the highest mean (M= 0.80, SD= 0.21), whereas dimension of openness has the lowest mean (M= 0.59, SD= 0.29). The analyze shown the mean of communication skills is (M= 0.70, SD= 0.19). It means that the communication skills is good because adolescent also learn good communication skills through friendships with peers.
