Abstract
"The purpose of this research is to acknowledge the relations between the assertiveness and needs for agression of a private SMK X adolescences in North Jakarta. This research includes the participation of 357 students of the private SMK X in North Jakarta by implementing the convinence sampling technique. The result shows the negative relations yet significant between the assertiveness and needs for agression. It tells that the increase of assertiveness causes the decrease of the agression needed by subjects and contrarily. From the analisis of additional datas, it is shown that there are no assertive differences in the value of age, sex, education level, and the education of subject's father. On the other hand, there are assertive differences in the value of the education of subject's mother. The result of the needs for agression shows that there are differences in the value of the classification levels in which 3rd class subjects tend to reach the highest needs for agression in time while the 1st class subjects hold the lowest. "
