Abstract

Currently, one of South Korea's culture are much in demand is art in the form of songs or music. In Indonesia concert performances of the boy band and girl band from South Korea tend to be attended by teenagers. Teens synonymous with conformity. There are two reasons teens do conformity, which is due to normative social influence and informational social influence. In addition one of the developmental tasks of adolescence is past the 4 stages of identity status, namely diffusion, foreclosure, moratorium, and achievement. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there are differences in the reasons to watch the concert on adolescent conformity fan of k-pop in terms of identity status. The study involved 182 adolescents. Data collection was conducted in October-November. The results of this study are the reason there are differences due to the influence of social conduct informational conformity in terms of identity status (p = 0.002 , p = > 0.05). In addition, adolescents who had done many concert is adolescent with foreclosure identity status. While most teens do a little concert is adolescent with status identity achievement.
