Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describe self-concept on the offender attempted suicides of young adult man. This research was conducted using qualitative methods and open interviews, with four subjects aged 23-27 years old. Based on Calhoun & Acocella, saying that those who have a negative self-concept has an irregular view on themselves. Prayitno found some main risk factors a person attempted suicides are because of poverty, unemployment, loss of loved ones, conflict with family and friend, breakup with partner, job problem and socially isolated. This research found that the four subjects who attempted suicide had a negative self-concept and is caused by one of the main risk factors a person attempted suicides. It is found that the first subject is caused by conflict with his family, while subject two, three, and four because of break up with their partner.
