This study was conducted in order to determine whether there is influence between entrepreneurial characteristics and motivation to business success in the freight business cargo types in North Jakarta. The method used in data collection is by distributing questionnaires to 35 entrepreneurs freight in North Jakarta. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques using multiple regression analysis with the F-test and t-test. Tests have shown that the assumption of all of the data deserves to be tested regression. The results of hypothesis testing showed that the characteristics of entrepreneurship and motivation affect the success of the types of cargo shipping services business in North Jakarta.
