Abstract

The concept of TQM in general describes a comprehensive system, where the system is related to the implementation of quality management in order to achieve better organizational performance. Therefore, TQM is a system that has a goal to improve overall organizational performance by improving the quality of management. PT X is a company that put quality of their products as first priority to meet customer needs. Therefore the analysis of the effect of TQM on performance is a very useful study for the survival of the company. This study aims to determine whether there is any effect of TQM on performance. Variables used are TQM and performance. TQM is an approach that focuses on improving quality to maximize organizational competitiveness through continuous improvement of products, services, labor and environment. Organizational performance is a meature of how well the organization work. The data used isrthe data in 2012. The research sample was 63 employees of PT X Data collection technique isquestionnaire. Data analysis technique is simple regression method. The results of the analysis concludes that there is impact ofTQM on organizational performance.
