Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research is to empirically examine the influence of the capital structure, growth opportunities, and profitability of the earnings response coefficient on manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period of 2016-2018. The sample selection is done by purposive sampling method, and obtained a sample of 54 companies in this research. The result of this research shows that capital structure and growth opportunities have no significant effect on earnings response coefficient, profitability positively affects earnings response coefficient. Keywords: Earnings Response Coefficient, Profitability, Capital Structure, Growth Opportunities ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh capital structure, growth opportunities, profitability terhadap earnings response coefficient pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama tahun 2016-2018. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling dengan total 54 sampel perusahaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah capital structure dan growth opportunties tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap earnings response coefficient, profitability berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap earnings response coefficient.
