Abstract

This study aims to examine whether attitudes toward smoking behavior,subjective norms and perceived behavioral control by the subjects arepredictors of smoking intentions of students. Non-probabilistic samplingmethod used in this study. Data were collected by questionnaire. The data isanalyzed by multiple regression analysis. The results showed that attitudestowards smoking behavior and subjective norm are significant predictors ofintentions to smoke, while the perceived behavioral control is not a significant predictor of intentions to smoke.
