Abstract

ABSTRAK The aim of the research is to determine the correlation between profitability, liquidity and asset structure to the capital structure of manufacturing companies in the food and beverage industry sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) from 2020 to 2020. 2022. In this research, sample of 77 data was used with the sample selection method used was purposive sampling. The samples were processed using the Microsoft Office Excel application and IBM SPSS Statistics 22 software. The results of this research show that profitability is strongly, negatively and significantly related to capital structure; liquidity is very strongly, negatively and significantly related to capital structure; and asset structure is very weakly, positively and insignificantly related to capital structure. Keywords: capital structure, profitability, liquidity, asset structure Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui kaitan dari profitabilitas, likuiditas dan struktur aset terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor industri makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) sejak tahun 2020 s.d. 2022. Pada penelitian ini, digunakan sampel sebanyak 77 data dengan metode pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel diolah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft Office Excel dan software IBM SPSS Statistics 22. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas berkaitan kuat, negatif, serta signifikan terhadap struktur modal; likuiditas berkaitan sangat kuat, negatif, serta signifikan terhadap struktur modal; serta strukur aset berkaitan sangat lemah, positif, serta tidak signifikan terhadap struktur modal.
