Abstract
ABSTRACT (A) BURHAN IRSALI RAHMAT (115200331) (B) THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE ON EARNINGS GROWTH IN THE INFRASTRUCTURE SECTOR FOR THE PERIOD 2016-2022. (C) +42 pages, 6 tabels, 1 picture, attachment (D) FINANCIAL MANATGEMENT (E) Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of financial performance as measured by the variables Current Ratio (CR), Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO), on profit growth in the infrastructure industry of cellular telecommunications operator companies for the period 2016-2022. Telkomsel, XL, Smartfren, and Indosat are some of the companies studied. This study uses regression test estimation with the Chow test, where Prob> 0.05 indicates a provisional recommendation for the Simple Effect Model. Furthermore, this study uses the LM Test to select the Simple Effect Model or Random Effect Model, as well as using the T Test, Multicol Test, and Coefficient of Determination Test. The results show that liquidity proxied by CR has no significant effect on earnings growth, while profitability proxied by ROE has a significant effect on earnings growth. There is a statistically significant influence between ROA as a measure of profitability on earnings growth. Meanwhile, the activity ratio proxied by TATO has a significant effect on earnings growth. (D) MANAJEMEN KEUANGAN (E) Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja keuangan yang diukur dengan variabel Current Ratio (CR), Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), dan Total Asset Turnover (TATO), terhadap pertumbuhan laba pada industri infrastruktur perusahaan operator telekomunikasi seluler periode 2016-2022. Telkomsel, XL, Smartfren, dan Indosat adalah beberapa perusahaan yang diteliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan estimasi uji regresi dengan uji Chow, dimana Prob > 0,05 menunjukkan rekomendasi sementara untuk Simple Effect Model. Selanjutnya penelitian ini menggunakan Uji LM untuk memilih Simple Effect Model atau Random Effect Model, serta menggunakan Uji T, Uji Multikol, dan Uji Koefisien Determinasi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa likuiditas yang diproksikan dengan CR tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, sementara profitabilitas yang diproksikan dengan ROE berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Terdapat pengaruh signifikan secara statistik antara ROA sebagai ukuran profitabilitas terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Sementara itu rasio aktivitas yang diproksikan dengan TATO berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba.
