Abstract
Political reform has trigger the demands of press freedom from hegemony of power, transparency of reporting, and the democratization of information communication. However, when the dynamics of press freedom more and more coloring the media news domains, appears a group of people who considered that journalism in Indonesia is already too far. On the other hand, in the frame of media ideals, actually the journalist just trying to give factual information to public that is supported by the professionalism. The tendency of that inequality views emerge, actually can be minimize, if public understand about the meaning of democratic media, and media together with journalist referring to the provisions and norms of reporting.
