Abstract

Protection for workers is covering a quite wide aspect such as: safety for life, health, good moral and behavior in accordance with religion and human values. Such protection is aimed to provide safety for workers to perform daily work and, at the same time, to improve working productivity. Safety and health environment for workers is one of the most important aspects in workers’ protection. In this case, the risk that may be caused by working tools, machinery, raw materials and the process, working environment, working manners, physical and mental condition of workers and other things that possibly occurred shall be totally controlled and avoided. Participation from both the employer and the workers will create safety and comfortable working climate. This condition will build the harmonious relationship between the employer and the workers and that will provide strong foundation for smooth production process. The Company shall have good policy as the first step in protecting workers in every level from top management up to bottom management to provide safety and comfortable working environment. The workers shall participate and have commitment to apply the determined policy for working safety so it will work effectively. All workers in every level of management shall appreciate and carry out K3 (Safety) as a positive culture.
