Abstract

Building construction projects are complex, non-routine, have a limited cost, time, resources and specifications and are targeted to the satisfaction of the stakeholders. In the implementation of the common constraints of the factors that led to the failure of a construction that the common goal could not achieved. This study was conducted to determine the effect of internal factors of the contractor, the internal owners, consultants internal supervision, the external environment and project management action, to project success. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to the respondents questions consisting of contractors, project owners, and the supervising consultant. Method of analysis conducted in this study is Confirmatory Factors Analisys (CFA), with Generalized Stuctured Component Analysis (SEM-GSCA) to determine the predictive relationship between variables and to determine the influence of the weight criteria of the findings of the hypothesis. The results of this study are as follows: (1/1) Internal Factors of Contractor and Project Management Action have a significant effect on Project Success (CSFs). (1/2) Internal Factors, Owner, Supervision Consultant, and External Environment have no significant effect on Project Success (CSFs). (1/3) Internal Factors Contractor, Owner, Supervision Consultant, and External Environment have no significant effect on Project Success through Project Management Actions. (2/1) Resource Availability indicators correlates most strongly to the Internal Factors of Contractors. (2/2) Slow Decision Making Indicators have the strongest correlation to Owner Internal Factors (2/3) Technical Capability indicators correlate most strongly to the Internal Factors Supervision Consultant. (2/4) Climate indicators correlate most strongly to the External Environmental Factors. (2/5) The quality assurance system indicators correlate most strongly to factors Project Management Actions. (2/6) Time indicators correlate most strongly to the project success factors.
