Abstract
Kindergarten education has a great important role to support children development, and teachers of kindergarten are a key person on kindergarten education successful. The function of kindergarten's teachers is not simple and very strategic in planting children knowledge and personality establishment. These function and responsibility are a workload for teachers. This research study about teachers perception toward workload related to job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is important for continuity of teachers productivity. The number of subjects were 78 private kindergarten teachers in West Jakarta. Data was collected by using questionnaires, and analysed by Pearson Product Moment.. The result of this research shows significant positive correlation between perception of workload with job satisfaction (r = 0.350, p < 0.001). It means the higher perception of workload the more job satisfaction. Based on this result, the managers of kindergarten education are suggested to pay more attention on teachers perception toward workload, to attain the optimal job satisfaction.
