Abstract
This research is intended to reveal an illustration of baby attachment (first born) that is deposited in child day care with her mother. Bowlby proposed that attachment behavior is behavior that promotes proximity to attachment figure (Cassidy & Shaver, 1999). Attachment is being showed by baby with positive response to attachment figure, feeling better with attachment figure, and look forward attachment figure when he feel afraid (Taylor, Peplau, & Sears, 2009). This research using qualitative method with in-depth interview and observation. Subject in this research is three mother and son that below one years, and a first born child that is deposited in child day care at Jakarta. This research was conducted over a period of about 6 month (December 2011-Mei 2012). From this research we found that all the subject have been developing secure attachment to their mother.
