Abstract

Kujer. et al. (2000) said that family support influences mother's recovery from breast cancer. This family support causes chemical reaction which is stimulating cells in the body to against cancer. However, Sarafino (1994) declared that family support does not influence mother's recovery from breast cancer. Sometimes, the support from family members does not match to mother's need. This research tried to prove how influence of family support to mother's recovery from breast. cancer. This research involved six research subjects with breast cancer at stage III. Research technique using by in-depth interview and observation refers to Mental Status Examination (MSE). This research shows that family support influences mother's recovery from breast cancer.
