Abstract
Health insurance is a type of insurance that covers all or part of a person's health risks which results in medical costs, by sharing these risks among many people. With health insurance, these risks can be managed so as not to cause financial losses. However, in
general, Indonesian people have not placed insurance as a priority to fulfil the need for a sense of security. Decision-making factors to participate in re-insurance are determined by each individual, of course, for many reasons. Income, financial literacy, personal selling, and consumer trust which can be the factors for people deciding to insure. This study aims to determine the effect of income, financial literacy, personal selling, and consumer trust on
the purchase decision of private health insurance product. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative data collection methods, the method used in this research is survey method. This relationship was examined using quantitative methods on insurance users domiciled in Jabodetabek and library research. Data collection uses a measuring instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The sampling technique used purposive sampling
technique, namely as many as 521 people belonging to health insurance customers whom lived in Jabodetabek area. Then the data analysis technique used is validity, reliability, T test, and the Multiple Regression analysis method. From the research results it is expected that each variable has a significant effect on purchase decisions on health insurance products
