Abstract

Current challenge in the pharmaceutical industry is the company's ability to adapt and respond to market dynamics. As one of the top 5 pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia, PT XYZ has developed ways to increase its competitiveness in Indonesian market and be able to keep achieving its strategic goals such as innovation in business processes by creating an online system aimed at helping the sales team more quickly in making strategic decisions based on evaluation and analysis of available data. In many previous studies, there are several factors that have been pointed out as factors influencing the organizational performance. This research seeks to analyze the influence of information technology, information systems and information management capability on
the organizational performance of pharmacetical company (PT XYZ) using primary data obtained from a questionnaire. The total number of respondents sampled was by nonprobability sampling method was 135 respondents as Area Managers spread throughout Indonesia. Method to analyse the data was by employing the PLS-SEM. The results show that information technology, information systems and information management capability have a positive and significant influence on organizational performance of PT XYZ. These suggest that PT XYZ needs to give attention to the use of an integrated information system, supported by information technology (IT) and equipped with good data or information management capabilities to improve its organizational performance. This can be done by
easing access and customized presentation of data to assist decision making as well as management's commitment to improve the organizational performance of PT XYZ.
