Abstract
"Retirement readiness is an individual perception about readiness to face the changes from working to retirement. Retirement readiness can be seen from individual factor, one of them is known as psychological capital. The aim of this research is to test the role of psychological capital to retirement readiness of government employee. In this research, researcher used a quantitative method by collecting questionnaires. This research involved 72 government employees of government agency X, consists of 55 men and 17 women. The results of the research show there was a role of psychological capital to retirement readiness of government employees with R2 = 0,120, F = 9,536, p = 0,003 < 0,05. This finding shows that role of psychological capital towards retirement readiness is 12%."
