Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the influence of working capital on the firm’s performance of the manufacturing industry listed in The Indonesia Stock Exchange during the year 2010 to 2011. In this study, researcher use cash conversion cycle (X1), current ratio (X2) dan net working capital turnover (X3) to measure working capital efficiency, and return on asset (Y) to measure firm’s performance. The research focused on manufacturing industry. The population is all of the companies in the manufacturing sector listed in The Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2010 until 2011. The method of sampling is nonprobability sampling and purposive sampling technique. To analysis the data, researcher used panel pooled data. The result of the research in partially using t-test indicates that current ratio influence positif and insignificant effect to return on asset, net working capital turnover influence negative and insignificant effect to return on asset and cash conversion cycle influence negative and significant effect to return on asset. Using F-test, the study found that all independent variables influence significant to dependent variable.
