Abstract
Contract Change Orders often occur in construction project, whether during early, middle, or late stage of project. Contract Change Orders may cause the changing of duration and cost of the project. The aim of this research is to know the causes of change order and the effect that occurs the cost performance in the construction project in Jakarta. Data for the research were obtained by distributing questionnaires to consultants and project owners in Jakarta. The research findings show 4 issues that most influential which are owner / consultant, administrator, change with reason and change with picture detail.
