Abstract
ABSTRAK Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang mewajibkan seluruh perusahaan yang sudah go public untuk melakukan auditor switching atau rotasi auditor, yang bertujuan untuk tetap menjaga independensi auditor agar laporan keuangan yang diaudit tetap menghasilkan informasi yang wajar, dapat dipercaya dan mudah dipahami bagi para pemakai laporan keuangan untuk pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat yang mempengaruhi auditor switching pada Perusahaan perbankan BUKU III dan BUKU IV yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020 – 2022. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapat bahwa terdapat 2 (dua) faktor yang mempengaruhi auditor switching pada Perusahaan perbankan BUKU III dan BUKU IV yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020 – 2022 yaitu faktor ukuran ukuran perusahaan dan audit fee. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan cara mengumpulkan laporan keuangan perusahaan perbankan BUKU III dan BUKU IV yang telah diaudit oleh auditor indendepen yang dapat diakses melalui www.idx.co.id. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah pergantian manajemen, ukuran perusahaan, ukuran KAP dan audit fee, sementara variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah auditor switching. Dalam melakukan analisa data, peneliti menggunakan aplikasi software SPSS dengan menggunakan analisis regresi logistik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan hasil bahwa pergantian manajemen dan ukuran KAP tidak berpengaruh terhadap auditor switching, sementara ukuran perusahaan dan audit fee berpengaruh terhadap auditor switching. ABSTRACT Indonesia is one of the countries that requires all listed companies has to do the auditor switching or auditor rotation, which aims to maintain auditor independence, thus the financial reports can provide fair, trustworthy and easy to understand information for the users of financial reports for the decision-making. This research aims to find out what factors can influence auditor switching in listed banking companies BUKU III and BUKU IV on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020 - 2022. From the results of this research it was found that there are 2 (two) factors that influence auditor switching in BUKU III and BUKU IV listed banking companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020 – 2022 period, which is the company size and audit fee factors. This research uses secondary data by collecting financial reports from BUKU III and BUKU IV listed banking companies which have been audited by independent auditors which can be accessed via www.idx.co.id. The independent variables in this research are management change, company size, KAP size and audit fees, while the dependent variable in this research is auditor switching. In analyzing the data, researchers used the SPSS software application using logistic regression analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that management changes and KAP size had no effect on auditor switching, while company size and audit fees had an effect on auditor switching.
