Abstract
Investment Model of Commitment depicts a theoretical model consists of satisfaction, quality of alternatives, and investment size as the predictors (Rusbult, Martz, & Agnew, 1998). The purpose of this study was to investigate the concept of Investment Model of Commitment developed by Caryl Rusbult in predicting infidelity in adolescents in dating. The subjects in this study were 244 respondents drawn using accidental or convenience sampling. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS program and found that the commitment can be predicted by satisfaction, quality of alternatives, and investment size, but the Investment Model of Commitment did not predict Infidelity in dating relationships.
